Not sure it's working for .DSF files

I downloaded a few .dsf files from here:

Then tagged them with the latest version of mp3tag which supports .dsf files (using the id3v2 scheme).

However this tag library does not seem to be reading the tags, in my .NET test project or in the Ethos cataloger (in the log I'm getting "Not a PSF file").

First of all, thanks for letting me know about this issue.

It would seem there are two kind of audio files that share the same ".DSF" extension :
  • Sega Dreamcast Sound Format (e.g. <= the one supported by the current version of
  • DSD Stream File (the one you tried to read), which is not supported yet
That being said, the specs of DSD Stream Files do not seem to be too complex. I might be able to add support in a very short time. I'll let you know.

Is there any other feature you'd like to discuss for next version ?

I've just commited DSF support, as well as a couple of fixes concerning embedded pictures in ID3v2 tags.

=> Please update your code from the master branch.

NB : I'll release a new DLL only when OPUS support is done.

Thanks, I missed this message atthe time somehow, I'll consider this library again as a replacement for TagLibSharp, depending on your answer to my question on the AIFF format!
